João Pedro Morais is from the state of Ceará in the northeast of Brazil. At 19, he is simultaneously pursuing degrees in International Relations at UNITER and Law at the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR). Before beginning his two degrees, João Pedro completed the course Humanitarian Response to Conflicts and Disasters offered by edX, an online platform created by Harvard and MIT. In 2021, he attended the Congress of International Relations (CONRI) as part of its ongoing plan to become a diplomat of the UNHCR ACNUR. João speaks fluent English and French in addition to his native Portuguese.
