André Lopes is a Machine Learning Engineer at IBM. He is pursuing a BSc in Software Engineering at UNINTER. In 2021, he founded the Google Developer Student Club at UNINTER, recognized as the largest chapter world-wide by Google in 2022. Simultaneously, he worked to expand his knowledge of Data Science and Business Analytics at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. A former Submarine Pilot and Subsea Operations Supervisor, André earned his associate’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ETEP Faculdades. He has studied Quality and Process Excellence at the University of Toronto and holds certifications from Microsoft in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing and from IBM as a Machine Learning Specialist Associate.
