Eager to innovate and adapt, Uninter responded to the challenges of Covid-19 by launching virtual exchange programs with partner institutions: San Ignacio de Loyola University (USIL) in Peru, Popular Autonomous University of Puebla (UPAEP) in Mexico, and the University of Central Chile (UCEN).
Over 30 Uninter students have been selected for this opportunity and will immerse themselves in an international academic environment. Classes, which will take place in the comfort and safety of their homes, begin in March. Students come from a range of programs, including: Graphic Design, Journalism, International Relations, Pedagogy, Tourism, Administration, Political Science, History, Law, and Physical Education.
Uninter will also welcome students from the Chilean universities UCEN and Duoc UC in our first semester of 2021 in online classes.
We are excited to launch these new virtual exchange programs to allow students access to international learning experiences as we navigate the global pandemic. Over the years, Uninter’s International Department has helped send our students around the world to gain international experience through in-person offerings at partner universities. We look forward to the start of these new virtual exchanges and to resuming in-person programs when conditions permit!
